Anti-flood

One of the most pressing questions for the Axer^® research team has always been defence against water, making houses safe when faced with very violent storms which are increasingly the cause of serious floods and hardship.

Axer is a pioneer in the construction of its test laboratory, which is equipped with specially designed and manufactured instruments to test the anti-flood features of its products.

Unlike the more widespread waterproofing tests, Axer tests window frames for their resistance to both driving rain and stagnating water infiltrations, using tanks that place a pressure against the frame of 1 cubic meter of water for every square meter of surface.

While the most common waterproofing systems are installed after the frame, when faced with a specific need, the anti-flood frames become a fundamental safety feature each time they are closed, and protect the home from any unexpected and sudden occurrences.
